Mohammad and Islam Timeline

1.     Around 570 AD Mohammad was born

2.     Mohammad marries his cousin Khadijah around 595 AD

3.     In 610 AD Mohammad had his first revelation

4.     Just three years later in 613 AD Mohammad began to preach his message publicly

5.     Islam faced small struggles as the years went on, but in 630 AD the muslims conquer Mecca

6.     In the same year Muhammad now rules Arabia

7.     In one short year, All Arabians submit to Islam in 631 AD

8.     In the next year, 632 AD  the farewell pilgrimage occurs, on this pilgrimage Mohammad delivers his famous sermon that commences the conquest against the Christians and Zoroastrians

9.     In the same year Mohammad ultimately passed away, he died at the age of 62

10. In 637 AD the conquest of Jerusalem and Syria occurred

11. Five years later in 642 AD the conquest of Egypt occured
